Maniac Cop

I appreciated this film for many of the reasons you did, Walter. But I can't agree with those first three sentences. Berg's movies, even during the talking head parts, merely assemble "coverage". There's little economy of visual information, the editing rhythms are haphazard, and I found much of this movie exhausting to look at, even in its relatively quiet scenes. It is still a big step up from THE KINGDOM. And BATTLESHIP.
