I used to be fascinated with this movie, but sadly on viewing the Blu-ray version I felt disappointed. The visual effects sequences are still fantastic, but few and far between. The dramatic parts are quite weak and later on contains some truly cheese-worthy scenes in an automated factory. It's a tough film to recommend. As someone else mentioned, Strange Days is Brainstorm's successor, and more satisfying I think.
